Job Description The posting is for a Senior Level Engineer but will consider Entry and Mid Level Engineers.
Position covers units in the Midwest of USA and Mid and Western Canada. Currently position is located in St. Louis, MO and will consider having position located in Orlando, FL.

Requirements: 1) Provide statistical evaluations of operating data for customer gas turbines utilizing the Global FACTS (gFACTS) data and preparing an analysis which encompasses data from multiple sources.
2) Make presentations to customers to convince them to work with Siemens on the data collection process and gFACTS capabilities. Train customers on recording operational data in a Siemens format. Develop alternative processes for customers that do not actively report their data.
3) Research and interpret unit outage records and customer reported data to determine correct parts configuration and reporting classifications according to industry and Siemens standards. Develop technicques and new processes to ensure strict adherence to IEEE 762 and multiple Siemens Service Bulletins. Audit the work of the data technicians to ensure the highest data integrity.
4) Contact internal departments and district offices to gather configurations and change information. Represent the Fleet Data and Statistics department in meetings with LTP, TSM, Marketing and Engineering concerning policies and priorities. Represent the department in customer meetings and User Group meetings. Work with the Districts to develop a unit priority list so that the future needs of the business are understood and communicated back to management. Support engineering black belt and green belt programs.
5) Support the Total Maintenance Services process for assigned customers, both gas turbine and steam turbine. This includes developing statistical content/analysis, supporting the field service engineer (FSE) and providing site support during the outage for issues regarding parts pedigree and blade sequencing.
6) Ensure all changes and statistical data are input into gFACTS to provide accurate/current parts configuration, unit operational history and unit configuration. Provide complete assessments of all customer parts, both active in the units and inventory.
7) Support blade sequencing for assigned customers worldwide. Effectively implement latest process enhancements to ensure that the outage is not negatively impacted in any manner. Use best practices, lessons learned and good judgement to identify potential issues as they arise during the sequencing process.
