Position Summary The Information Software Support Engineer will work with customers to resolve application/product issues which will allow the customer to maintain an efficient and productive manufacturing system. This position requires self initiative, ownership, excellent listening skills, commercial sensitivity, responsiveness, collaboration, technical engineering expertise, and business acumen.
Minimum Qualifications BSEE or BSCS

Experience Requirements:
0-2 years experience troubleshooting, application, and or design of computer based systems. Must be able to work with people, handle and deal with high pressure situations successfully.
Must be able to manage multiple problems with changing priorities. Must be able to interface with all levels of management.

Commercial Requirements:
Superior listening and data gathering skills.
Superior written documentation skills.
Superior verbal communication skills with both internal and external customers.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, and be self motivated.
Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in accepting new challenges.
Desired Qualifications A solid background with Microsoft Windows, Windows Security, SQL Server and the Client / Server communication model, networking and web applications.

Microsoft certifications are highly valued. An understanding of Rockwell Automation software products including FactoryTalk Historian SE, FactoryTalk Historian ME, FactoryTalk AssetCentre, FactoryTalk Transaction Manager, FactoryTalk VantagePoint, and FactoryTalk View SE would be a plus. Microsoft certifications are highly valued.
