Specialist IS Business Analyst - Order to Cash, Sales & Distribution / Global Trade System (SD & GTS)
The Center of Excellence (COE) Business and Application Support organization is responsible for supporting the business processes and application software being implemented through Amgen's ERP Program. Business Analysts within this team must possess thorough knowledge of the processes within their area of specialization as well as a comprehensive understanding of the configuration associated with the specific SAP components that are used to enable these processes.
The Specialist, IS Business System Analyst will be primarily responsible for providing business and application support of the production environment. The analysts will interact with members of the Client-Facing IS teams as well as with our Super Users and Business Partners. The analysts will also work directly with members of the COE's Technical and Infrastructure team to assist with the resolution of technical incidents as well as the implementation of new functionality.
The Business Systems Analyst will serve as a liaison between our Business Partners and the COE in the development of new application functionality. In this role, the Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for performing the analysis and design associated with new requirements. The Business Systems Analyst will collaborate with the Development organization to create functional and technical specifications and complete the necessary testing and documentation associated with these changes. The analyst will also work closely with the Computer System Validation group to ensure that all enhancements are implemented in a quality manner.
Basic Qualifications -Doctorate degree OR -Master's degree & 3 years of directly related experience OR -Bachelor's degree & 5 years of directly related experience OR -Associate's degree & 10 years of directly related experience OR -High school diploma / GED & 12 years of directly related experience
Preferred Qualifications Preferred Basic Qualifications: -5 years experience with SAP SD, Logistics Execution and WMS -3 years experience performing systems analysis, design and translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications -2 years experience implementing RF for warehouse transactions -1 year experience providing SAP production support experience in the area of SD, LE and WMS -2 years experience with storage and/or handling unit management -Bachelor's degree and 5+ years experience with SAP WMS or high school diploma / GED and 7+ years experience with SAP ERP WMS
Preferred Additional Qualifications: -5+ years experience in performing SAP configuration within the Sales & Distribution (SD) module, including experience with Sales Order Processing, Pricing, Billing, Accounts Receivables, Returns, and maintenance of Master Data, including Sales & Customer. The successful candidate will also possess a thorough understanding of the business processes enabled by these SAP components -2 years of SAP project or production support team leadership role -2 years experience operating within a validated systems environment (FDA, European Agency for the Evaluation of Medicinal Products, Ministry of Health, etc.) -1 year experience with SAP's Global Trade System (GTS) -Knowledgeable of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) technologies -Participation in 1 full ERP Implementation -3 years combined experience with Materials Management and Inventory Management -Basic knowledge of SAP's ABAP programming language -2+ experience with IDOC interface -SAP Certification in modules within SD, WMS, MM, LE -Experience using document repository and change management tools such as: Sharepoint, EDM, ISCM, ISM, and Solution Manager. -Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills -Limited travel (5-10%) both within and outside the US is expected -24x7 on-call support is necessary to resolve critical business & technical incidents
