Cook Security Group is looking for an ATM 2nd Line Technician to join our team. CSG is a local company that provides security, service and installation to Financial, Commercial, and School/GOV institutions throughout the Pacific Northwest. Summary: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to provide second line maintenance for ATM banking products with an emphasis on HW & SW problem diagnosis by performing the following duties. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Perform basic installation and minor repairs on all ATM products (multiple manufacturers) and services. 2. Prioritizing and planning service calls. 3. Contacting customer with the estimated time of arrival. 4. Escalating problems when appropriate. 5. Reassigning calls when appropriate. 6. Accurately report service data. 7. Interact in a professional manner with customers to foster positive customer relations. 8. Support service technicians in performing preventative maintenance inspections on conventional products. 9. Maintain effective communication with Business Management Team and Service Technician Team members. 10. Provides maintenance on ATM banking products to include: problem diagnosis, component level repair, application reload, preventative maintenance, documentation and planning/maintaining spare parts levels. 11. Perform some minor maintenance on ATMs (e.g. replacing light bulbs, card reader belts, air filters, etc.) 12. Develop working knowledge of all operating standards, practices, and procedures. 13. Complete equipment cleanings as specified in service agreement. -Perform basic installation functions (e.g. pulling cable, mounting devices, installing Mas-Hamilton locks). 14. Ensures all work is preformed to company quality standards and practices. 15. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience: HS Diploma or GED equivalent; Three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
