Description
DUTIES: Responsible for network design leadership for new services, features and engineering that drives the global IP network; perform internet protocol (IP) backbone networking applications including multi-protocol label switching (MPLS), open shortest path first (OSPF) and border gateway protocol (BGP) for Cisco and Juniper platforms in a mobile telecom routing environment using principles of Cisco Certified Internetwork Professional (CCIP) Certification; provide technical design leadership working with systems, testers, service owners, engineering and operations; collaborate with designers to develop network design and plan for projects; perform detailed designs which drive IT requirements, test plans, deployment guidelines and engineering plan of records; perform proof-of-concept work and collaborate with network vendors; contribute to compliance with environmental laws and regulations.
REQUIREMENTS: Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering and two years experience in internet protocol (IP) backbone networking applications including multi-protocol label switching (MPLS), open shortest path first (OSPF) and border gateway protocol (BGP) for Cisco and Juniper platforms in a mobile telecom routing environment. Also requires Cisco Certified Internetwork Professional (CCIP) Certification.
