The Self Service Check-In team has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst in Kraków. The Business Analyst will work with global customers, and answer any product related questions. The Self Service Check-In Team is in the process of building a highly motivated team in Krakow. Our team has grown from 30 to 70 members globally in 2011 due to the increased demand from the market for our Self Service Solutions. Our team regularly participates in the Employee Mentor Program initiatives; this program is designed specifically for employee growth.
Our team supports Kiosk Check in, Web Check in, Mobile Check in products. We will be building check in capabilities that will support iPads, iPhones, and third party software in the future. Self Service solutions enable airlines to differentiate, recognize, and provide superior service. Our comprehensive user interface optimizes airport staff efficiency resulting in expedited customer service. Our customers are located in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia Pacific.

We are inviting you to join our team and take the role of Business Analyst - Senior (ref no. 00FSE, location: Kraków)
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: * Creates process diagrams and/or business flow assessments to ensure appropriate reengineering of solutions * Develops complex service models and prototypes * Creates and implements customer feedback mechanisms * Creates technical documentation / specifications * Provides functional/technical assistance in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements * Provides consultation to users in detailed functionalities of automated systems * Supports development staff by assisting with functionality questions, addressing testing issues, training on new products and all delivery planning aspects for deployment of a service or product QUALIFICATIONS:
Required skills: * B.S. degree (or higher) * Proven 5 years history as a Business Analyst in an IT company or a system specialist in a travel industry related company * Advanced ability to plan strategically for current and future business environments to create flexible solutions * Demonstrated ability to understand and document internal and external processes and work flows * Extended analytical skills to effectively gather information from multiple sources and creatively transform to expected business value * Excellent communications skills, both oral and written, to serve as a communication coordinator between developers, architects and designers, and with external and internal customers * Advanced knowledge of systems flows, engineering documentation, tools and architecture concepts * Proficient with Microsoft Office suite Additional skills (nice to have): * Good knowledge of Agile, SCRUM, XML and SQL * Understanding of Sabre's Host systems (PNR, Check In), applications and processes * Open systems background, particularly in WebServices and transaction processing * Experience in the travel industry * Experience in coming up with requirements for collecting website metrics
