Responsibilities: This position will play a hands-on and leadership role in the delivery and support of data warehousing and business intelligence solutions across the company. Key responsibilities include:
Partnering with business leaders to define and prioritize BI initiatives that enable insight and deliver value across a wide spectrum of functional disciplines, providing leadership and driving the success of a global team tasked to deliver on these initiatives and support those using high quality and repeatable processes. Maintaining and communicating a strategic roadmap and maximizes the value of our technology investments and includes the introduction and deployment of new technologies. Job Requirements :
The ideal candidate will have: Strong hands-on and leadership experience in the delivering of BI solutions leveraging SAP BW and Business Objects platforms. Minimum of 10 years of IT experience and related technical management experience. 5+ years focused on delivery of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solutions using these technologies. Experience in Oracle-based data warehouse solutions desired. PMI or similar Project management certification desired. Communications Skills: Effectively communicates with and engages all levels of the organization verbally and in writing; translates technical decisions/strategies into business terms and implications; produces clear, understandable documentation geared for all audiences. Able to liaise effectively with both business partners and technical teams. Leadership Skills: Individual must be highly self-motivated and have demonstrated ability to execute initiatives with minimal direction and manage a wide range of issues to resolution. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a management role leading global IT teams. Bachelor’s degree required in a technical discipline. Computer Science, MIS, Engineering is desired.
