Sales Operations Consultant
- Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of media and/or advertising experience.
- Proven leadership ability.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Word.
- Systems knowledge: SFA expertise a must, Database basic concepts, Teradata SQL or other query based programming language, a plus.
- Intermediate proficiency in Adobe PhotoShop & Acrobat Professional -PDF Writer.
- Ability to create, modify and deliver sales and support materials as needed.
- Ability to work in fast paced, dynamic and evolving work environment with minimal supervision.
- Ability to multitask with high attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Evening and weekend hours may be required as necessary for needs of the are seeking a Sales Operations Consultant supporting the Head of Sales and our sales teams to launch, build and substantially grow this new business.
The Sales Support & Operations Consultant must be a self starter who is laser focused on execution and reporting and is comfortable with meeting fast-turn deadlines. This operational role will work broadly across the sales team to maintain day to day systems and ensure deadlines are met.
Reporting
- Provide new reports & update existing reporting to support sales programs and effectively drive sales growth.
- Provide reporting and analysis for sales management and field representatives.
- Investigate opportunities for individual, market and channel performance improvements.
- Ensure appropriate reporting for all levels of leadership.
- Develop and maintain score card reporting to assist sales leadership in managing performance opportunities.
Process Improvement
- Identify process and system improvements to address issues that impede growth initiatives, increase revenue and reduce selling time.
Core Responsibilities
- Work very closely with sales teams to understand their needs for support and the method in which they access and use support materials.
- Develop and maintain sales support materials, including but not limited to: sales presentations, collateral, new product positioning, tear sheets, newsletters and premiums.
- Working with marketing and business analysts to create case studies, collateral, sales materials.
- Keep competitive information current for sales team.
- Develop/coordinate continuing education program (sales and new products) based on needs of sales teams.
- Administer onboarding processing for new sales team members.
- Assist Head of Sales and sales team with large client presentations, when needed.
- Support Director of Marketing with special projects as necessary.
