Our client is a billion dollar high tech company. The Revenue Accounting Manager works closely with Sales Management as well as the Director of Revenue, VP of Finance and Legal. This role also has the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities including working with other members of the organization on complex accounting issues and cross-functional processes.
Main Duties: * Working with the sales team to develop deal structures yielding desired economics and accounting outcomes * Work with divisional marketing on design and launch of new offerings in compliance with existing VSOE and fair value * Work with divisional finance on modeling economics and P&L of large deals requiring executive approval * Design, manage and execute certain key controls * Provide Senior Management with financial reporting information and operational support * Coordinate external audit activities and audit preparation * Develop accounting policies and procedures
