SUPERVISES: Store General Managers
GENERAL FUNCTION: To deliver a consistent, high quality patient and customer experience in a multi-unit cross functional environment encompassing retail, lab and doctor services in order to deliver the key results of the organization. RGMs accomplish this purpose by ensure the following roles and responsibilities are implemented consistently, with an underlying commitment to company values, the customer, the associate and excellence in execution.
· Build Talent · Build Capability Deliver the Key Results of the Organization · Build the Brand
MAJORROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: In a multi-store environment, Regional General Managers are required to:
Build Talent- Attract, hire, develop, inspire and retain top talent through proactive succession planning efforts. * Coach, develop and maximize the success of all General Managers, RQM and Doctors * Motivate, inspire and retain all direct reports and Doctors * Ensure capability education is delivered
Build Capability- Analyze the business and create/communicate clear action plans that optimize results and ensure effective execution of all operational activities across retail, lab and eye care segments of the business. * Analyze business, create action plans and gain buy-in with store management * Manage profit and expenses * Direct workforce management activities * Manage operational execution and brand standards * Ensure Asset Protection policies and practices are being followed
Build the Brand- Build a store's environment that is sharply focused on consistentlydelivering exceptional patient and customer experiences. * Direct a consistent focus in delivering patient and customer experiences * Ensure visual and brand standards are set in accordance with Company direction * Direct the implementation of Company selling strategies * Lead change and innovation
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Ability to travel * Strong Talent Management Skills * Sound judgment, problem solving and decision making * Excellent leadership development skills * Team building and management skills * Organizational skills * Strong Analytical and computer skills
QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelors degree or equivalent experience * 5 + years experience in multi-unit retail industry environment * 8 + years management experience
