Education: Completion of high school, Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Trade Certification, 3rd Period Apprentice, 4th Period Apprentice, 5th Period Apprentice, Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) Certificate, Gas Fitter Certificate - Level 1 or A, Gas Fitter Certificate - Level 2 or B, Gas Fitter Certificate - Level 3 or C Experience: 5 years or more Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English Major Work Area: Construction, Installation, Maintenance, Service, Repair, Institutional, Commercial, Industrial, Residential Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Systems: Rooftop (self-contained), Heat pump, Filtration, Air motioning and circulation, Built up (split system), Humidification and de-humidification systems, Ventilation Specific Skills: Measure and lay out reference points for installation, Measure, cut and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment, Commission systems and test for leaks using testing devices, Perform routine maintenance and servicing, Interpret gas codes, Install, troubleshoot, repair and overhaul entire heating, ventilation, air handling, refrigeration and air conditioning systems, Handle, recover and store refrigerants, Test and repair electronic components, Read blueprints Additional Skills: Customer service oriented Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Driver's validity license check Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Safety equipment/gear, Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/goggles, Gloves Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling Work Site Environment: Noisy, Hot Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence Work Location Information: On-site customer service Essential Skills: Reading text, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Significant use of memory Other Information: Ductwork experience required Employer: Dynamic Climate Control Inc.
