Contributes to the goals of the Insurance Agency by accurately maintaining the internal statistical and financial records on the agency management system and training employees on the use of the agency management system.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions Statement(s)
* Electronic interface with represented companies: receiving the daily downloads, processing transactions on the agency management system and researching those that did not process automatically.
* Posting processed transactions to the agency management system daily.
* Processing payments received onto the agency management system and forwarding to Accounting for completion.
* Audit policy applications and information entered into agency management system by sales agents to ensure accuracy.
* Processing of policies, endorsements, cancellations and reinstatements received from the companies to make sure all are on the system accurately.
* Submission and processing of all bond applications/policies.
* Provide training on maneuvering within the agency management system to agency employees.
* Audit commercial policy applications and process the policies issued by the insurance companies.
* Provide backup for mailroom activities including sorting, stamping and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail.
* Other Duties as assigned

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education :Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or related insurance experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience :Four years related experience or combination of education and experience.
