The following is a high level overview of what the Bankruptcy processor will need and be responsible for.
There are four major areas and processes this individual will be working.These are:
LexisNexis Daily File
This file includes individuals that have filed for bankruptcy and have named DISH in their filing.The accounts for these customers need to be located and then processed.
Bankruptcy Mail
Everyday DISH receives bankruptcy notification via US mail.This mail needs to be sorted and all appropriate notifications need to be processed.
Collection Agency Notifications
DISH has several 3rd party collection agencies and these agencies are responsible for scrubbing accounts for bankruptcies.Once they have identified the account as a bankruptcy they will notify DISH and they will be processed.
Email Notifications
Various teams within DISH will notify the Bankruptcy Processor of customers who have filed bankruptcy.Once the accounts have been identified it will need to be processed.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or higher and one to two years of related experience.
