This role reports to the Global OneSource Program Management Leader, and has high visibility within both the OneSource organization and our Customers' organizations.
This position will act as a key driver towards continuing to define our Organizational Metrics & Reporting capabilities platform, and transferring best practices throughout the organization.A primary function is analysis & reporting around critical to success project factors and Key Performance Indicators such as: response times, down time, repair time. The successful candidate will demonstrate a depth of proficiency in manipulating data from sequel extraction, to spreadsheet/pivot table creation, to PowerPoint presentation that provides thoughtful narrative analysis in interpreting trends and anomalies. They should understand project maturity levels and be able to determine process capability in key processes. Experience in determining Project Effort Variance, Cost Variance, Productivity, Process Compliance, Process Repeatability & Reproducibility is desired. Coupled with the skills to execute on the aforementioned statistical and mathematical tests, we'd expect you to use your seasoned business knowledge to help us make sound decisions, based on what the data tells you. Responsibilities With expertise in statistical techniques & business analysis, Metrics & Business Analysts are responsible for planning and managing the Organizational Metrics & Reporting Program for various OneSource customers. This includes the development of metrics profiles to determine the organizational process and product capability, and implementation of standard metrics collection and reporting methods for the organization. There are(3)primary focus areas for this role: 1) Project Manage the development of analytics tools and reports using, among other tools, SQL, Microsoft Excel, Project and PowerPoint. 2) Perform data analysis, Including: Project Management Performance (cost, schedule & scope variance & investigation), instrument reliability. 3)Enable the field teams to make better business decisions and drive more impactful processes to create value for our Customers. In addition to contributing to projects at the descretion of the PMO Leader, as new business goals emerge, we would expect you to define the drivers associated with the goals, determine how best to track our processes, execute data collection, and report metrics to senior management & customers. The role requires broad & seasoned business acumen and ability to: * Proactively collaborate with our customers and internal business partners to: Characterize information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following as required: (Functional and Business specifications, Use Cases) Knowledge sufficient to create and standardize operational and financial reports in support of internal and external reviews * Serve as a conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team * Establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs * Analyze reliability data to build performance reporting for equipment in support of program profitability and customer decision-making requirements * Identify and incorporate relevant industry metrics into analysis * Train and challenge business teams on their assumptions concerning the successful execution of programs * Support training materials creation & execution Job Requirements :
Requirements: * 5 + years of experience in similar position with solid skills in statistical analysis, collection, and reporting, as well as robust business analysis experience. Exposure to Operations/Field Service and IT Product Development will be very helpful. * Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Business preferred. Concentrations in MIS are valued * Seasoned Certified Black Belts & Green Belt are desirable, however, any candidate who can demonstrate the ability to manage our metrics program based on past experience and on-the-job learning will be seriously considered. * Experience analyzing and interpreting statistical data is critical to success * Strong knowledge of reliability and maintenance principles * Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer service business need and translate them into application and operational requirements * Must work autonomously with proven ability to analyze data from equipment history records * Strong communication, interpersonal skills and customer-centric focus * Advance knowledge in: MS Excel, Database skills, MMS. Knowledge of SQL and SAP are very desirable, and Minitab is a plus.
