If so then read on because you need to consider a career in the HP Global Delivery-ITO Network team. HP is starting a Network team in HP Global Delivery Philippines. This team will provide Level 1 up to Level 3 of support to multiple global customers using HP ITIL methodology. Role Description HP is a leading IT comprehensive outsourcing services provider empowering businesses to plan, manage and maintain their integrated, ultra-high availability, and secure operations. Advancing to meet the demands of its Fortune 500 clients in the financial, retail, transportation, and manufacturing industries, HP offers IT infrastructure management, application hosting, e-services, and m-commerce operations. We are looking for individuals to provide Technical Support to support HP's global customer base. The successful candidate will work on a global operations team responsible for the support of Network technologies. The candidate will also be expected to work on several customer issues/initiatives concurrently. As a Technical Support Engineer, you are expected to: handle end-to-end delivery of SLAs for assigned accounts; provide service delivery to the required service levels; install, configure and administer large scale global and regional middleware applications; and provide reactive support for customers and introduce measures to reduce reactive work. Qualifications - At least a Bachelor's (Undergraduate) Degree - Must be Filipino citizens or hold relevant residence status - Must have a background in computer science, a related discipline or equivalent work experience in IT - At least 1-2 years experience supporting a broad range of network technologies: routers, switches, WAN links, load balancers, QoS, firewalls and IDS - Preferably with certifications such as CCNA - Familiarity with ITIL concepts and process is an advantage - Must have strong analysis, customer handling, documentation and English communication skills - Must be an independent worker
