Position Summary:
Recruit, train, motivate & develop multi unit/location sales team to obtain current objectives and uncover future opprotunity. Primary responsibility is to coordinate $3 -25 mil in annual sales. This position is responsible for recruiting, managing, and executing sales objectives within a defined Market. This may include managing exempt level supervisors in remote locations.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
* May involve managing exempt level Supervisor within the Market;
* Ensure performance management is executed responsibly across the Market;
* Ensure that the proper recruitment and selection of sales representatives;
* Coach, develop, train and mentor sales representatives and/or supervisors for optimal performance;
* Maintain Pricing Objectives, Selling Expense Control, Market Revenue & Customer Growth, Customer Retention, Material Management, Maintain Efficient Contacts, Closing Percentage & AAP.
* Coordinate customer communication & issue resolution.
* Build sales plans in order to achieve growth.
* Accurate tracking and reporting of sales and proper communication to Regional Sales Managers and operations team.
* Ensure compliance with Scotts financial, regulatory, environmental, and ethical policies and guidelines.
* Maintain positive associate relations and open communication for sales rep goal and responsibility.
* Recruit and hire as well as terminate direct reports under the direction and guidance of the Regional Sales manager and HR;
* Directly responsible for the acquisition of new customers and play an instrumental part in retention of customers.
* Responsible for ensuring that alternative sales methods are implemented in order to achieve customer growth.
* Responsible for Sales Rep performance management
* Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Education and Experience HS Diploma or equivalent; BS degree preferred; or equivalent years of experience and education in green or sales industry (5 )
