Overview:
Part Time Big Ticket Visual Merchandiser
Drive sales and profitability of the big ticket areas by assisting in the execution of individual store floor sets and presentation standards based on district and store specific trends, local competition, and associate feedback. Positions are located by district.
Key Accountabilities:
Assist District Visual Manager with execution of seasonal big idea and merchandise initiatives.
Place accessories according to company direction and reflect each store's predominent customer.
Identify additional accessory needs based on sell through and inventory, then communicate any needs in an organized manner to supervisor, District Visual Manager, to have replenished the following season.
Revisit big idea visual asset maintenance during each store visit. Identify additional needs to further distort big idea packaes where warranted based on sales trend.
Review Sales Promotion signing during each visit to ensure appropriate execution of marketing events on monthly direction.
Manage space allocation and floor flow standards by location, independent of district Visual Manager and maintain company direction each season.
Travel with supervisor, District Visual Manager, to assist with the completion of two seasonal floor sets.
Competencies:
Visit assigned stores weekly to maintain during non-floor set periods.
Submit checklist and photo recap of store visit to DVM.
Use standards manual to educate store associates how to maintain highest merchandise presentation and signing standards.
Parter with Store/Sales Manager to train other associates on how to maintain on how to maintain stores through daily practice of areas of pride.
