Role Summary/Purpose The primary responsibility of the Project Manager is to manage and coordinate the work of direct orders within cost and schedule targets adhering to Dresser procedures and standards of quality and safety.
Essential Responsibilities
* Lead and direct multiple projects and multi-disciplinary project teams to support product equipment orders according to the Dresser Roots Project Management process
* Monitor and control assigned projects to insure schedules are maintained, as well as, to insure costs and profits are controlled
* Interface with Application Engineering, as required, during the entry of assigned confirmed order into and through the order entry process, and provide Order Acknowledgement to purchaser
* Interact with customers and vendors on a technical level, as required, to support the project process
* Issue and coordinate project engineering drawing submittals, quality plans and installation manuals
* Coordinate customer meetings, witness tests, inspectors, etc.
* Resolve project issues or disagreements as they arise
* Requisition buy-out items and special components per established dollar value limits, project specific procurement plans, and MRP procedures
* Provide support to Aftermarket / Service group for equipment during equipment commissioning as required
* Direct and supervise assigned subordinate Project Engineers and Application Engineers to ensure personal and business objectives are being met, while providing development to assigned individuals to maximize potential within their area of responsibility
* Comply with all requirements of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
Qualifications/Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering or related 4 year degree
* Minimum of 3 years in industrial project management or related field
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
* Ability and willingness to travel up to 15% of the time

Desired Characteristics
* Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Minimum of 3years in rotating equipment / air movement application or sales, or related industry
