Develops, implements, maintains, analyzes, and administers staff and craft labour rates, compensation and transactions, benefits, HR systems for Canadian Operations. Interfaces and coordinates cross-departmentally to effect those rates with sales, estimating, proposals, contracts, HR, operations, payroll, and accounting and finance. Certification or advanced study within a recognized area of specialization is preferred. Under general supervision, and occasional direct supervision, performs assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within their field. Displays core job competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills. Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 4 years of experience, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree. Experience in construction or maintenance payroll function in Canadian market inclusive of direct experience in processing buidling trades union payroll. Experience in interfacing with HRIS systems such as HR/Pay component of SAP.
