The Automotive Technician performs car and bus service, repair, preventive maintenance, in-fleeting service, and buy back/turn back service according to company policy and procedures. Looking for candidates with experience as an auto repair tech, auto tech, automotive technician, mechanic, automotive repair, automobile repair, automotive journeyman. Key words include car, auto, automobile, service, journeyman, automotive, repair, mechanic, ASE automotive, ASE tech, ASE technician, ase automotive, ase certification, diesel technician, bus technician, diesel mechanic, diesel truck technician, diesel truck mechanic,automotive mechanic tech, technician.

Responsibilities:

Ensure that all repairs and preventative maintenance are completed according to the manufacturer's specifications and guidelines.
*
Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs and preventative maintenance.
*
Perform in-fleet servicing on new cars according Company procedures as required.
*
Perform buy back/turn back servicing according to Company procedures as required.
*
Perform vehicle servicing/repairing to maintain Company standards (i.e., maintain Out-Of-Service at or below 2%).
*
Maintain the work area in a safe and clean condition.
*
Perform related duties as required.
Qualifications:

Candidates are subject to a company-sponsored drug test.

Must be at least 18 years of age
*
High School Diploma / G.E.D.
*
Minimum of four (4) ASE certifications required. (Additional compensation for ASE certifications above 4).
*
Two years of automotive technical training at an accredited technical or trade school required, OR, a minimum of two years of technical experience in an automotive repair shop servicing current model vehicles required
*
Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years
*

No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years
*
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
*

Requires ownership of standard hand tools to perform basic maintenance responsibilities
*


Apart from religious observations must be able to work a Full Time schedule consisting of 40 hours per week.
*


Candidate must be available to work afternoon and late evening hours: Typical shift would be as follows: Thursday - Monday 3:00 pm - 12:00 am
