Analyzes current and newly developed operation policies, procedures, and systems across multiple departments or locations. Reviews current performance and procedures for improvement opportunities through standardization. This is a financial analysis position in the DNS (Dish Network Service) department which provides customers with DISH installation and service visits through our nationwide corps of professional technicians.
- Serves as the main financial point of contact for field management from 2 of our national installation/service regions
- Performs financial planning and analysis for operations as well as financial support for management to promote improved financial performance
- Design and develop financial models, ad-hoc analysis and reports to monitor key financial metrics, calculate projections and highlight areas of concern and/or opportunity
- Interprets financial data and communicates conclusions and recommendations to different levels within the department
- Serves as the main financial point of contact for field management from 2 of our national installation/service regions
- Analyzes current processes and procedures in order to make recommendations to promote effective operations within and between departments.
- Manages the completion of difficult projects that are broad in nature by following general guidelines and using creativity and resourcefulness to meet established goals.
- Recommends the final course of action among several alternatives for enhancements to operational policies, procedures, and systems.
- Prepares and delivers the required training to facilitate changes in business policy, procedures, and system implementations.
- Evaluates performance against established metrics to determine acceptable levels of quality or efficiency for various business functions and units.
- Works under light supervision to accomplish objectives.
- Maintains and applies expert knowledge of practices and procedures in area of expertise and maintains a broad knowledge of practices and procedures of other departments.
Relevant Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in Finance or other quantitative field; Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and two plus years of relevant experience preferred.
