POSITION:

District Manager



REPORTS TO:

Regional Director



POSITION SUMMARY:
The District Manager has a critical leadership position in the CPI business organization, which represents the interests of the studios to the Company and most importantly, represents the Management of the Company to the host environment and the associates who work in and manage our studios. The District Manager is responsible for the leadership and development of the District Team through overall sales and profit and management, customer satisfaction, selection, supervision and development of the Studio Managers, development and continuation of a professional relationship with the Host Store Managers, compliance with Company policies and procedures in both new and existing studios. Responsible to the Regional Director for support activities as outlined below or as assigned by the Regional Director to further the Region's performance.







POSITION RESPONSIBILITY:



* Partner with the Regional Director to develop and effectively execute a quarterly and annual District operating plan

* Accepts accountability for the achievement of the District goals through the utilization of metrics supplied by the company to measure the successful development of a sales -focused district organization

* Provides the required management reporting to the corporate organization on a timely basis

* Communicates effectively any regulatory or legal issues that might place the company at risk

* Attracts, recruits and hires effective Studio Managers and establishes continuous succession planning from the Studio associate level to the Studio Manager level

* Effectively motivate, manage, and mentor Studio Managers by monitoring, evaluating, analyzing, and measuring performance and leadership competencies. Take appropriate action when necessary up to and including termination in consultation with Human Resources and direct supervisor

* Establishes and communicates the goals and objectives of the studio to the studio manager, holding them accountable for the effective implementation and achievement of these goals and objectives in their studios

* Assures compliance of the studio manager and their associates in all areas of studio processes and company policy, through regular routine visits and audits

* Ensure an exceptional customer experience by effectively managing the established company photography standards and sales process

* Create, foster, and ensure a team culture focused on positive employee morale, exemplary photography, superior customer satisfaction, and strong sales results

* Create, foster, and ensure effective relationships with the Regional Director as well as within the studio enterprise, assigned Region, CPI Corporate Office, and host store management




REQUIRED SKILLS:




* High School graduate or higher

* A minimum of 3 - 5 years multi-unit management experience in retail or a related service industry

* Excellent communication and organizational skills

* Proven success in driving sales and profitability

* Reliable Transportation

* Demonstrated superb leadership skills

* Basic PC skills (Microsoft Office Package)
