Providence is calling a Director of Hospitality
The Director of Hospitality Services develops, implements, directs and coordinates all Regional Food, Nutrition, and Environmental Services departments in the Portland Service Area (PSA). Food & Nutrition Management responsibilities include provision of food and clinical nutrition services and programs to hospital inpatients and outpatients. Through retail outlets, provides service to employees, families, visitors, medical staff and the general public through established cafeterias, cafes and catering services in PSA. Environmental Services responsibilities include housekeeping services, solid and medical waste disposal services, recycling programs and other related services to acute care facilities and on campus buildings in PSA. Linen Service responsibilities include provision of linen needs for the PSA Acute care facilities. Responsibilities also include serving as a member of the Operations committee of the Co-op Laundry, assuring that the needs of the PHS are met. Responsible for leading and orchestrating the regional management teams in the above areas in developing and providing high quality, cost effective, customer responsive services which meet all accreditation requirements. Responsible for Hospitality Services at 4 hospitals, 2 office parks, 22 cost centers with a combined expense budget of 51.8 million dollars and 719 FTEs.

REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelors or advanced degree from an accredited school with a major in food or hospitality administration, clinical dietetics, business administration or equivalent knowledge gained through a combination of course work and experience. Advanced education in area of food or environmental services, human resources, business and quality management.
Licenses/Certifications: Current drivers license.
Experience: Expert knowledge of service related operations, market research and development, safe food handling standards and practices, management principles, strong interpersonal communication and managerial skills. 7-10 years of progressively responsible experience and demonstrated accomplishments.
Preferred: Masters degree.
