Job Responsibilities:
Enter zip codes and mailing addresses into data entry system
Affix labels to mail
Operate a hand or foot activated barcode or optical character reader
Meet encoding production standards
Assist in other departments as needed
Job Requirements:
Possess at least 10,000 keystrokes
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Ability to work for the duration of the shift
Must be able to work overtime as required
Ability to cross train in other departments
Maintain a 98% accuracy on each work order
Ability to pass a drug test and a criminal background check
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand for hours at length
Long periods of standing, bending, lifting, and transport of materials
Bending and lifting of mail sacks and tubs not in excess of 50 lbs. and averaging appx. 35 lbs. Repetitive lifting of mail up to 15 lb
Repetitive hand/arm movements in encoding mail
Bending, pushing and pulling hampers
Temperature in the distribution center can vary greatly from warm to cool
Noise level generated from other distribution activity can be somewhat loud at times, but no damaging levels or protective equipment required
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
· Basic skill set (refer to required skilled section below)
· High School or equivalent training and/or work experience preferred
REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:
· Basic oral and written communication skills
· Detail oriented
· Data Entry Skills
· Basic math skills
· Ability to follow procedures
· Basic reading skills

Sunday 9pm-Finish and Monday to Friday 10pm-Finish
