Job Description: As aCustomer Support Technicianyou will participate as primary support liaison between company and customer. You will provide support to customers by resolving semi-complex technical application problems and then maintain a log of problems so that recurring problems can be reported to product development. You will perform semi-complex work within technical or paraprofessional areas and effectively identify problems as they occur while taking appropriate steps to solve them in situations where the problem is not difficult or complex. You will refer complex, unusual problems to ponsibilities: * Provide technical assistance to end-users using computer systems supported by the Customer Service Center * Support via telephone by answering questions, resetting passwords, researching and troubleshooting problems, relaying step-by-step procedures and utilizing call escalation procedures for unresolved problems * Perform tasks and assignments required by other departments, as well as provide assistance to other technicians in solving unfamiliar or complex problems * Requires a major portion of time sitting, speaking on the telephone, typing, and includes working shifts scheduled throughout a 24-hour day, evenings, weekends, and holidays * Requires various shiftsEducation and Training: * Typically an Associate's degree or 1-2 years of vocational technical training preferred * HS diploma or equivalent required * Specialized skill training/certification may be requiredWork Experience Required: * 2-5 years of successful experience in area of responsibility and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented aboveWork Experience Desired: * Specific experience in the Help Desk, Technical Support, or Call Center field * Health Care support experience beneficial Requisition Number: 772 Job Title: Customer Support Technician Area of Interest: Information Technology
