The successful candidate must be able to perform the following functions. Specific experience using SAP is not required, but the candidate must have had experience on some type of manufacturing system that involves opening Workorders and making inventory movements.
Interfaces with Sales specialist and/or Applications Engineer to understand customer requirements, delivery expectations and any special instructions associated with all sales orders. Works with Warehouse Supervisor and Shop Supervisor to plan equipment requirements, prepares Workorders and communicates committed delivery back to sales. Responsible for all logistical issues related to the transportation of equipment to well site. Specific duties Creates entry for work order in SAP & NET with status set to WIP Closes work orders, completes SAP transaction for parts issued out against work order pick lists. Enters FG into SAP. Changes status from WIP to good/new in NET Creates/modifies entry for equipment received from the field Updates NET with storage/rack location Updates NET with test results and condition status Updates NET with ownership status Updates NET when equipment is shipped from location (active, retired) Issues out to Asset account 1639998 any inventory that is to be converted to an Asset. For all sales orders, issues out inventory to “Shipped not billed” account.
Ideal candidate is someone that has worked in a manufacturing environment with duties including opening and closing Workorders on a manufacturing software system (SAP, MFG Pro, etc.) and making material inventory movements on such a system.
