Customer Service - Sales Order Entry

You’ll enjoy a very busy, hands-on role acting as an inter-department liaison to ensure that all customer orders are processed accurately and shipped in a timely manner. In this position, you will be pivotal to the continued success of the company through the development of business with new and exciting clients. This is a challenging and rewarding role with plenty of training and support provided.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Gather initial information from customers to provide sales rep and project manager with basic information
• Receive, enter and ensure customer orders progress through the system efficiently and accurately
• Act as liaison between Customer Service, Production, and Shipping
• Maintain regular communication with customers to update them on delivery dates, install dates, etc.
• Troubleshoot customer service issues
• Serve as a support mechanism for any sales function
• Related duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements:
• Experienced in a fast-paced and demanding environment
• Demonstrate close attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct mistakes
• Ability to work equally well in both team-oriented and self-directed environments
• Strong technical aptitude
• Problem-solve issues with professionalism, discretion, and expedience
• Strong telephone, email, and internet skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A high energy level and action oriented personality
• Excellent organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Positive attitude a must
