A leading third-party benefits administrator in Lancaster is currently seeking a long term temporary customer service representative to assist them during a very busy benefits enrollment period. Will be responsible for working with employers and participants to enroll and update eligibility and claims information in the computer system, with an emphasis is on customer service. **Responds to questions, concerns, and/or complaints regarding eligibility information. **Accurately responds to questions and provide verification of information. **Proactively notify supervisor of any potential problematic situations. **Maintain excellent working relationship with Claims Analysts. **Consistently demonstrate good writing skills including accurate and proper use of grammar in a professional format. **Update system information as per departmental guidelines. **Make follow-up calls to employers and participants. Requirements: **minimum of high school diploma or GED **at least two years of call center experience **previous experience in the healthcare field a plus **medical terminology knowledge a plus **excellent communication skills **strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) **AS400 experience a plus **must be reliable and hardworking This long term assignment will begin in September and will last through January of 2011. Full time, day shift hours available (8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday) and a pay rate of $12/hr. Business casual dress code; parking is provided on site.
