Girl Scouts of Northern Indiana Michiana is looking for a customer service specialist in their Logansport Service Center. This position is responsible for managing the front desk activities ensuring adequate coverage and working procedures are in place at all times. Additional duties include: Respond to and resolve customer relations issues; create and maintain high quality work environment to perform at highest level. Receive and process cash receipts and make deposits Assist with building support, including but not limited to, maintaining inventory of building keys, reserving rooms within location, supporting basic building maintenance. Maintain all office consumables; including but not limited to, office supplies, kitchen supplies, and printer/copier toner. Manage the maintenance of the Volunteer Resource Room: including but not limited to, checking materials out, accepting and returning deposits, and keeping the room in order. Manage telephone and voice mail communications systems for service center located in. Manage store at service center including keeping track of inventory and assisting customers with purchases. Manage sidewalk and front area entrance, ensuring that it is properly shoveled and salted during inclement weather and provides for safe entry for customers. Manage service center hours, ensuring that proper notification is shared with customers and posted early prior to office hour changes or closings. Other duties as assigned to meet the councils goals. Successful candidates will have a high school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience. This position requires 1-3 years of general office experience including reception and telephone duties; 1-3 years computer basics (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office equipment.
