MDX Customer Service Representative Manna Distribution Services; a division of Manna Freight Systems, Inc. Location: Mendota Heights, MN Manager / Supervisor: Erin Anderson Shift: 10am -7pm Job Description: The primary responsibility is providing operational support by fielding inquiries (phone, email, fax and Clarity) from customers and 3rd party suppliers. Provide Operational support to meet the services offered to our clients as outlined by the SOW, specific requests from clients or Account/Brand Manager. Ensure that revenue is accounted for on a shipment basis by utilizing and analyzing audit reports. Support the Account Manager in problem solving, data entry, and reporting. Duties: Make freight routing decisions based on maximizing profits while maintaining service. Negotiate costs with third party suppliers as needed on a per shipment basis to obtain profitability. Manage third party suppliers to ensure service performance levels are met. Supports investigations into customer complaints or shipper complaints and responds accordingly Ability to make and receive a high volume of phone calls. Search for opportunities to expand existing business relationships. Customer service role in problem resolution Analyze routes for effectiveness, cost and profitability. Recommend improvements to Route, Procurement, Account Managers and Brand Managers. Conducts problem solving and root cause analysis. Provide Operational support to meet the services offered to our clients as outlined by the SOW, specific requests from clients or Account/Brand Manager. Ensure that revenue and cost is accounted for on a shipment basis by utilizing and analyzing audit reports. Other duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications: Associates Degree and/or equivalent work experience Experience in and proven success in negotiating for win-win results. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and duties. Excellent communication and organization skills Demonstrated professionalism Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel. Demonstrated ability to think outside of the box and problem solve.
