Customer Service Representative - 5th & 16th Financial Center
Position Summary: Provide superior customer service, and support Financial Center team in achieving business goals by performing transactional services and maximizing cross-sell opportunities.
Position Responsibilities: Deliver the optimal customer experience by greeting, servicing, and referring consumer and business banking customers as appropriate Drive efforts in the Financial Center to identify and implement service behaviors that improve the overall customer experience. Handle and resolve complaints/issues on behalf of Financial Center customers promptly and effectively. Identify customer needs in order to effectively refer bank products and services. Proactively educate customers on utilizing available access channels (i.e. ATM, Online and Telephone Banking). Interface with Commercial Business, Consumer Lending, and Smith Barney to ensure ongoing communication with regard to existing and future customer needs. Support sales/service activities within the Financial Center by participating in seminars, micro-marketing events, promotional campaigns, product initiatives, etc. Adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures to ensure the safety and security of customer and bank assets. Provide ongoing coaching to Tellers to effectively identify referral opportunities
Requirements/Skills: Bachelor's degree in business (preferred) or equivalent work experience Customer service orientation Excellent verbal and written communication skills Analytical and problem solving skills Retail/sales experience preferred Basic computer skills Working knowledge of routine financial service transactions
