Camera Assistant
The Camera Assistant is responsible for preparing and positioning cameras used to shoot visual images. This position is a RUN OF SHOW position.
Responsibilities -Responsible for following a camera script within a studio setting and must be able to assist the Camera Operators to help interpret what the Director wants upon cue
-Positions and sets up the camera equipment so that it is ready for the Camera Operator to use
-Inspects the equipment to verify that it is in good working order and it has enough film
-Maintains up to date knowledge of filming methods and equipment
-Works under the direct supervision of the Director of Photography and is responsible for completing any other tasks as assigned by supervisor
-Ensures that all work is done under the technical guidelines and operations procedures of Telemundo Studios' infrastructure and adheres to EHS/OSHA regulations and procedures
-Follows policies, applicable laws, and regulations to protect his/her own health and safety as well as that of other workers, the public, and the environment
-Presents ideas that support EHS goals and policies to your business or EHS leader
-Raises concerns about possible violations of EHS policies to your manager, business and EHS Leader
