Summary Zipcar Brand Ambassadors are the public face of the Zipcar brand and report to the Marketing Manager. We need outgoing, clever, and fun individuals who can talk the talk and effectively communicate the Zipcar message to a variety of different people. Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: * Proactively educate the public about Zipcar and drive membership growth at local marketing events and key areas of the city * Perform event set-up, break-down and associated tasks * Gather business leads for sales team follow up * Wear Zipgear at events (It’s stylish stuff, don’t worry.) * Assist with other marketing projects as directed Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have: * High school diploma or equivalent * Performance or similar experience with street promotions, a plus * Ability to lift 50 lbs. and to carry collateral materials and displays * Ability to confidently approach members of the public * Basic computer skills * Ability to stand for extended periods of time * Valid state-issued driver’s license * Driving history that meets Zipcar requirements * Background and credit check that meets Zipcar standards * Interpersonal skills—must maintain confidentiality and remain open to ideas and be willing to try new things * Oral communication skills—must speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations and demonstrate group presentation skills * Adaptability—must adapt to changes in work environment and manage demands * Dependability—must arrive consistently at work and on time, follow instructions, and respond to management direction * As a member of the Zipcar Team you will receive: * Competitive compensation * Discounted Zipcar driving.
